The Best FREE Google Apps

Many people have Gmail, but did you know there are many other apps included when you sign up for a FREE Google account?

Here are a few that we like (and use almost daily):

Google Calendar:

One of the best features included with Gmail is Google Calendar. You can confirm appointments right through email and it will appear on your digital calendar! There are Google Calendar apps available for iPhone, Android, and of course, the Google Pixel phone.

Google Drive:

Google Drive is a great place to store documents, photos, videos, and pretty much anything else you store on a hard drive. In addition, it’s easy to share access to the items in your Google Drive without the hassle of attaching them to an email. Google gives you 15GB for free – that’s 7X the amount of free Dropbox storage, and 3X the amount of free iCloud storage!

Google Docs, Sheets, & Slides:

It’s the crucial apps that you would pay Microsoft to use (Word, Excel, & Powerpoint), but with Google they’re FREE! All you need is a web browser to use them, no downloads required. Your documents are saved in your cloud-based Google Drive, and with autosave, you never have to worry about losing your work!

If you are curious about trying out any of these or other Google apps, all you have to do is login to your Gmail and click the 9 dot grid in the top right. (Protip: drag and drop the icons in the 9 dot grid drop-down menu to arrange the apps as you please!)
